A dancing Lesson for Father’s Day
My daughter and my husband always had a special bond. Sometimes I think she understands him better than I do. At least when she talks about him she really gets him! The above photo shows them dancing on her Bat-Mitzvah and then at her wedding. I wished they too more dancing lessons together. I think that experience with dad on Father’s Day, such as a dancing lesson might be the best gift for him. Imagine how much more fun you’d have together dancing at your own big event or a family affair! These are the moments that our lives are made of.
As for my dad, he was a proficient dancer and I was not. I simply could not catch up with him. I wish I took him dancing to learn. I am really sorry I didn’t. If you didn’t yet buy anything for Father’s Day you still have the time to buy dancing lessons. Check out Groupon in your area.
Here are the examples below:
If he is not into dancing consider bowling, cycling, sailing, badminton or tennis. Even bird watching will do as long as you share this experience together.
Shopping for Father’s Day
Some men actually love shopping. My father was a professional grocery store bargain hunter as well as garage sales virtuoso. A shopping trip to Costco was making him happy every time. If your dad loves shopping, think about a gift card to his favorite store. Of course, a shopping trip together is the best. But if this is not possible, you can then go on Skype or use your phone to share the experience.
What are your plans for Father’s Day? Are you planning on experience with dad or a material gift?
