I’ve never been much into New Year’s Resolutions, but one thing I do know? I need to start a new year spending a day or two planning, organizing and nesting. I cozy up with warm blankets, cozy pillows and hot chocolate by the fireplace and start planning with this Home Project Planner. You can join me! Click here to get your FREE Home Project Planner.
Declutter Digital Mess, Papers and Photos
I like to clean up my Google Drive first and empty my trash bin of all the failed promises. You’ll be surprised what you can find sorting through your files and cleaning the digital mess that doesn’t serve you anymore! Scan as many papers as you can and get rid of paper files and folders. When was the last time you looked at your family photos? Organizing pictures will give you a chance to marvel at your favorite photos again and relive those precious moments. Then you can turn photos into beautiful digital albums. It will take some time to organize your photos but in the end, it’s worth it.
Cozy Up with Soft Blankets, Rugs, Pillows, and Poufs
Make your home look cozy and inviting with soft blankets, rugs, pillows and knitted accents, such as poufs and throws. You will see how much softer your home will feel during the harsh winter.
I have sorted through hundreds, and here is what I found:
Rugs and Pelts
Pillows
Poufs
Invite Warmth and Light to Your Space with Candles and Lamps
Putting up candles and lamps warms up our souls. I was watching my friend’s two-month-old baby Rebecca gazing at the chandelier light. She was smiling in total awe not taking her eyes off even for a second. As soon as the light went off she started to cry. We, as humans, are naturally drawn to light. There is nothing that cheers us up more than birthday candles, campfire with friends or a romantic dinner with candles. So, bring it home, and you will feel ten times better during the cold winter months. Light up a fireplace (if you have it), turn on table lamps, light the candles.
Here below are my suggestions:

Thank you for this project planner! I can now start to plan my home projects for this year. Hmmm What do I want to achieve?

A good place to start is sorting out the things that you already have. Also, looking through magazines and online sources, getting pictures and physically clipping them to a board. Then if you get tired of looking at them, chances are you won’t like them in your room either. On the other hands, home decor items that you continue to like will perhaps be the ones to focus on.
